Hannah Rubens is a Public Health Intern with the Build Healthy Places Network.
Hannah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science from Santa Clara University, where she was involved in numerous research projects exploring place-based health inequities. As a Valeriote Goldman fellow, Hannah also supported Santa Clara County’s COVID-19 response efforts as a case manager to coordinate financial assistance and other resources for families impacted by the pandemic.
Currently, Hannah is a graduate student at the University of Michigan pursuing a dual Masters in Public Health and Masters in Urban and Regional Planning. As a Research Assistant with the Housing Solutions for Health Equity research group, she supports work surrounding the impacts of housing policies and neighborhood conditions on health.
Hannah was born and raised in Seattle, WA, and loves spending time in nature with friends.
