Laura Copado is a Bay Area native with a passion for public service, community development, social justice, and equity. She brings over fifteen years of experience in nonprofit administration and operations. Before joining the Network, Laura worked at the Mimi and Peter Haas Fund where she was responsible for administration and operations and also supported grants administration and management for local nonprofits in the fields of early childhood care and education, the arts, and environmental stewardship.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice, and a master’s degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management, from San Francisco State University.
In her free time, Laura enjoys hiking throughout the Bay Area, international travel, and reading.
